O'Reilly Media is a US-based international company that publishes and "spreads knowledge" through books, online services, magazines, research, and conferences. Founded in 1978, it is particularly known for its books for software developers and its connection with the open-source software movement. Its headquarters are in California,US; additional offices in Europe and Asia.
