Interational Development Research Centre (IDRC) / Centre de Recherche sur le Développement International (CRDI) is a Canadian agency that sponsors applied and action research on international development. Among its areas of concern is localisation of ICT. In Africa, its Acacia Initiative program has for a number of years worked on ICT in Africa.
IDRC has also sponsored or co-sponsored various other activities including in Asia: IOSN and the PAN L10n project.
