The dot-EDU program is part of the USAID-funded DOT-COM Alliance and focuses on "Learning Systems." It is an ICT4D/E program led by EDC.

The dot-EDU mission is "To assist developing countries in strengthening learning systems to improve quality, expand access, and enhance equity through carefully planned applications of digital and broadcasting technologies." It implements training and pilot projects to this end.

It is not known if this program has been involved in any localisation in Africa. [need more info]
