Zulu
Xhosa
Akan
Yoruba

Region:
Africa!
Who will benefit:
- Lexicographers
- End-users
- Technology companies
- Software developers working on L10n
How:
By having an easy tool to use as a reference and by also contributing to it.
Achievable?:
Yes. Existing work can be built upon
Risks:
Not having enough users and contributors to make it a reliable and mature system
Assumptions:
- Existing work will be re-used
- Making it open source will utilize the open source dynamics of evolution
- Usability is going to be well thought-out to facilitate contributions
Timeframe:
One year for phase 1 which should focus on developing the tool further and doing two pilot languages
Needs:
Relying on volunteers at this early stage will mean slow developments. Thus, resources have to be hired to work on this. These resources include but are not limited to:
- Software developers
- Testers
- Linguists
- Translators
Organizations to be involved are still to be determined.
