I'll be happy to share with you the subscription list of the PAL lists -
this info is not private, but neither is the list made public (to protect
from spam).
I think that the archives of all these lists (blitz-l, panafril10n and the
PAL lists) are publicly accessible - that is that even non-subscribers can

Indeed, I sent my emails to all these addresses since I was not sure who is
subscribed when.
My only researve on your suggestion is the following:
- The recipients of all emails about IDRC project should be WELL identified.
We cannot araise expectations for funding to all subscribers to PAL lists.

I would like to propose a reorganization of the lists we use for
communicating about localization in Africa. Several issues with the recent
and important exchanges about Adel's asking Dwayne to help with organizing
project proposals are part of the reason:

Hi Dwayne,
Please find attached 2 documents exchanged between Adel and myself regarding a project we thought of last June to be done in Cairo, as part of the Pan African network. It was just ideas put on paper without details, please do not hesitate to contact me for details.
Besides, I have started communication with Reinhard regarding the courses, he is working now with different teams around the world to make Limerick on-line courses with one week in each local region, and I have volunteered to work on the Arabic part of the program and to host the course here in Cairo. Also we started at Arabize to build a collective database of terminology from all what we have inhouse.. so there are already seeds ready to grow.

We have quite a tight deadline for this although the end of the year

Chers Don et Paa Kwesi,
Je n'ai eu aucune réacton de la part des spécialistes du Hausa à mon
appel à contribution. Si vous connaissez certains de ces spécialistes
(linguistes et/ou informaticiens) qui accepteraient de collaborer,
alors, je n'ai aucune objection à inclure le hausa dans le projet

Sannu, Paa Kwesi, Quelques réponses ultra rapides :

1) Le Haoussa (Hausanci) est bien important, mais j'hésiterai de dire qu'il est si répandu dans la region. Plus vers l'ouest, plus le mandeng et autres langues sont importantes pour le commerce. comme lingua francas etc. Hausa is indeed important but I would hesitate to say it is that widespread in the region. Further west, Manding and other languages are important for commerce, as lingua francas etc.

courriel du 27 étaient les même auxquelles Paa Kwesi vient de répondre.

J'avais des problèmes de connexion (dans 2 lieux même), et j'avais tenté
