A software application that permits loading and viewing of internet (world wide web) content.

Localisation in Africa has focused on the FOSS browsers based on Mozilla (currently only Firefox).

Main types of web browsers

• Microsoft Internet Explorer (only African language is Arabic)
• Mozilla Firefox (a few African languages)

Other types of web browsers (no African language versions)

• Opera
