Maaya

Maaya - Réseau Mondial pour la Diversité Linguistique / World Network for Linguistic Diversity is "a multilateral network created to contribute to the enhancement and promotion of linguistic diversity in the world."

The name comes from the Manding language (specifically Bambara) meaning "the quality of humanity." (Literally "personhood," coming from the word for person, mɔgɔ or maa, plus the suffix for quality or state, -ya.)
